Sourcing as well as preparing wigs, beards, hairpieces, prosthetics and plaster casts for our new productions according to the specifications of the costume designers. Developing patterns for the make-up as well as the hairstyle of the artist together with the designers. Applying make-up and wigs before the shows and changing wigs and make-up during shows.
The Freilichtspiele Schwäbisch Hall are one of the leading open-air theatres in Germany. In up to 150 performances we entertain around 75.000 viewers each summer with our programm of drama, musical, dance as well as children's theatre.
Our two venues are very spectacular. The Great Steps (Große Treppe) in the historic centre of Schwäbisch Hall is very different from the New Globe theatre which was opened in 2019. This year we are producing 4 new productions as well as 7 productions from past years.
